IMDB rating: 7.40 Plot: Based on Marvel Comics’ superhero character, this is a story of Peter Parker who is a nerdy high-schooler. He was orphaned as a child, bullied by jocks, and can’t confess his crush for his stunning neighbourhood girl Mary Jane Watson. To say his life is “miserable” is an understatement. But one day while on an excursion to a laboratory a runaway radioactive spider bites him… and his life changes in a way no one could have imagined. Peter acquires a muscle-bound physique, clear vision, ability to cling to surfaces and crawl over walls, shooting webs from his wrist … but the fun isn’t going to last. An eccentric millionaire Norman Osborn (William Dafoe) administers a performance enhancing drug on himself and his maniacal alter ego Green Goblin emerges. Now Peter Parker has to become Spider-Man and take Green Goblin to the task… or else Goblin will kill him. They come face to face and the war begins in which only one of them will survive at the end. |

Okay i just learn that last night Robert Patterson will be playing the next spider man movie ? WTF?

Robert Pattinson is NOT signed on for Spider-Man. In fact, no one is.
The Zac Efron thing was just a misunderstanding. Zac will be starring in "Fire", which is a different comic book movie. "Fire" was writen by the same guy that did "Spider-Man Unlimited" comics, so that’s where the confusion came from.
The reason that Tobey isn’t playing Spider-Man is because they’ve decided to scrap the sequel and start all over with Peter Parker back in high school. For whatever reason, they’ve decided to go in another direction and return to the beginning.
No casting has happened so far. As of right now, there’s not even a gurantee that the movie will happen.
Frankly, I’m more excited about the new Venom movie coming out.

lol that is who they dumped McGuire over? seriously? stupid producers trying to cash in on Twilight Patterson doesn’t even have the right look he isn’t slim and sleek like spiderman is supposed to be.. nobody wins here.
