When previously unreleased material from Michael Jackson gets released, how do you think it will sell?

We know that Michael Jackson has TONS of unreleased songs that the public has never heard.

What will the interest in this material be? How will it sell?

I think it will sell like wild fire to be honest. I mean, right now his sales records are soaring. Nobody bought his music for the longest time, and now that he is dead, everything and anything of his are selling. I was just looking at the books he wrote, and I can’t get any of it at any library.. and Barnes and Nobles is completely out of it as well. I’m not sure about the interest or how exactly it will sell, but, I know for sure it will definitely sell. Which is good, because it will really help pay off the debt that Michael was trying to pay off, which he was trying to pay off with the help of the tour. I guess that’s how it is though – it’s sad that it has to be this way, that in order for you to make the greatest comeback of all time in all ways (sales, entertaining, etc) you have to die first. You saw it in Mozart as well as with other amazing individuals whose greatness was not appreciated until after death. Alas, I do believe his unreleased material will make a ton of money.

it wont sell, it will be put on the internet illegally but, for their to be songs the artist and the music company must agree, since michael jackson is dead i dont think the can do that.

and if i was in the family i would not allow them to post it

Wasn’t that solely for his children?

What a shame.

you mean like the DVD of his memorial service? Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Joe Jackson are all looking for ways to cash in.

I think that it will sell at first just because of his death. However, it depends on the quality of the songs. Afterall, there may be a reason why the others weren’t released (with the exception of the new ones). In time the best will keep selling and those which are not Michael Jackson "quality" will go about being unheard of. Though, considering his track record and great talent I’m sure that many people will buy it just because it has his name on the album. RIP Michael

it will sell,
i bet you he will beat another 100 records or something
sandy | Jul 11, 2009

It will sell some thousands and maybe some millions but I don’t think people would be that interested in buying them. Maybe in other countries such as the United Kingdom or Japan where Michael Jackson’s recent compliations soared to number one it will sell, but other than that, it wont be a very high seller.

It will sell more than when he was still here
Uwee | Jul 12, 2009

They are legitimately selling a last album of his, but the producers or whoever is in charge of that said that they are giving it time because they don’t want to jump on the bandwagon. I personally think it will sell extremely well. The whole world is buying MJ stuff cos he’s dead now, and everyone who can is trying to make a buck out of it. It isn’t that bad, cos at least the sellers can make his fans happy…me being a happy fan who bought a LOT of memorabilia after he died. =]

I need some advice about releasing a captive water turtle: Coy pond or real pond?

I work at several schools; one has a 10” turtle which some jerk has put in a small 20 inch basin, and filled with a 1/2 inch of water. The turtle has been in this basin 24/7 for at least 4 yrs. The teacher who brought her to the school has long since gone & no one knows where the turtle originally came from.

Tea Party Express Launches TODAY in San Diego

Conservative Groups Join Tea Party Express The national, cross-country Tea Party Express II: Countdown to Judgment Day ( http://www.TeaPartyExpress.org ) launches his Sunday, October 25th – 11:00 AM at Tuna Harbor Park in downtown San Diego, California.

Conservative groups have joined forces to make this massive national effort possible. The Tea Party Express II: Countdown to Judgment Day national tour will span 19 days, rallies in 38 cities, and cover more than 7,000 miles. The tour marks the one-year point from the 2010 elections when numerous members of Congress will be targeted for defeat, as a result of their support of higher deficits, growth in the size and intrusiveness of government, higher taxes, bailouts and more.

The Tea Party Express will specifically rally opposition to efforts to pass a government-run health care plan.
Here are the details on the first two “kick off” events for the national tour:

Events on Sunday, October 25th:
11:00am: San Diego, CA Tuna Harbor Park Tuna Lane located off N Harbor Drive and W. G Street San Diego, CA
4:30pm: Los Angeles, CA Griffith Park (Pad D – Crystal Springs Area) 4730 Crystal Springs Road Los Angeles, CA 90027

The Tea Party Express II is a 19-day, 7,000-mile journey across the country with a caravan of vehicles holding tea party rallies in 38 cities across America. The Tea Party Express is advocating for less government spending, an end to the bailouts, lower taxes, opposition to government-run healthcare and opposition to the growth in the size and intrusiveness of government in general.

what was the song playing when charlize theron and christina ricci kissed?

The song where they are at the skating rink and they kiss for the first time in the movie Monster?

I believe it is "Don’t Stop Believin’" by Journey

According to the New York Times:

Patty Jenkins’s Oscar-winning 2003 film ”Monster” should have been mentioned in the Directions report about the popular resurgence of the Journey song ”Don’t Stop Believin”’ [''All Are Encouraged Not to Stop Believin','' Aug. 28]. The song was the soundtrack to one of the movie’s most talked-about scenes, when the characters played by Charlize Theron and Christina Ricci fall in love at a roller rink. It’s a stunning scene, and I suspect it uses the song far more sincerely than any MTV reality show or Web video could.

why does it seem that all women are gay or at least "bi" nowadays? I was told by a 16 year old daughter of a friend that she is "gay" because it’s the "in" thing.

Disturbing, to say the least.

I just seen that movie the other day. That is one twisted movie. Sorry I can’t help you with the song. It about made me sick seeing Christina Ricci kissing someone as fugly as Charlize Theron.
